Wow oh wow. Is it tough coming back from vacation or what?! This weekend, Jonathan and I went on our first whirlwind of an adventure to Santa Barbara, Los Olivos, and Ojai and boy did we have a blast. While unfortunately I didn’t take nearly enough photos, I did however take a few, which I thought I’d share with you.
By far one of the most exciting parts of our trip (and one of the only few planned. Oops!) was our stay in a suped-up Airstream trailer (which you can stay at Here). We picked trailer #5, which was a midcentury mod, Mad Men-inspired interior. And although it was tiny, we couldn’t of had more fun! Everything from the bathroom to the bed were of top quality and the location was ideal, right next to one of our now favorite Mexican restaurants and a local dive bar, where I started to learn pool. I’m working so hard on getting better!
Next up, we decided to head to the “Funk Zone” (I kid you not, that’s what it’s called!) for some wine tastings and dinner. While sadly I shattered my iPhone at one of these places, I couldn’t help but remain happy since the weather couldn’t have been better. Plus, at one of the wineries, a very nice couple bought us a bottle of nice wine! Who knew that being extroverted for once came with so many perks?!
That’s it till now. So sorry I forgot to whip out my regular camera on our other side trips, but we were just having too much fun together to remember to document it! Does anyone else ever have that problem? You’re having so much fun that bringing out your camera just feels unnecessary? I get that a lot when I spend time with the people I love 😉 Oh well. Hopefully I’ll remember next time, which will happen in the not so distant future.
